Just Friends Social Events
A place where adults can socialize and grow in Christ.
Just Friends is a social group in the church that was started in October, 1986. People wanted to get to know the members of their church family better, so this group was formed.
There are still those in the group that were part of the beginning. The relationship between the people is very rewarding, and we have grown in fellowship and faith.
Each month we have a social event or a fund-raiser. The first Sunday of each month at
9:30 a.m. we hold our business meeting.
An example of some of our Social Events we have had are:

Attend stage plays

Progressive Dinners

Pig Roast

Bus Trips

Pot Luck Dinners both at church and in member’s homes

Tailgate Parties and Football games at Miami University

Christmas Party every year
Just Friends Fund Raisers
Our Fund-Raisers are held to help with both projects around the church, community, and world wide.
Fund-Raisers include our:
With the money received we have been able to put carpeting in the church, new flooring in the kitchen, refurbish the men’s restroom, and refurbish the nursery.
We have been able to donate money to flood victims, tornado victims, support a needy family at Christmas, help our youth with their projects, and buy computers for the church.
These are just some of the projects and improvements we have been able to accomplish through our Fund-Raisers.
