Mission Projects and Opportunities
Monthly Community Meal - A free meal on the last Monday of every month for anyone in our neighborhood. Come help, eat, or simply visit with our neighbors as you break bread. Serving at 6 pm This takes place at 412 S. Front St., the new home of Power Source.
Serve City Meals - First St. John partners with Serve City, Hamilton's homeless shelter, in several ways. We are comitted to preparing and delivering a meal for 40 - 50 on the second Monday each month.
Dojo - Youth Leadership and Empowerment -
Youngsters ages 8-12 learn discipline, respect, preseverence, and leadership skills through martial arts. The program is funded by grants from United Church of Christ Justice and Witness Ministries, UCC Racial Ethnic Empowerment Committee, Hamilton Community Foundation and individuals. This activity is held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 412 S. Front St. Instructors are from The Dojo in Mason, OH. For more information, visit www.thedojoinc.com . Look under 'community outreach'
Homework Help - We offer an after-school snack followed by assistance with homework for K-6 kids in our neighborhood. Children get help on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00 in the social room at 412 S, Front St. You're never too old to share your wisdom and patience. Some of our helpers are in their 80's. We have ended for the school year.

Quilts for Chidren's Hospital are designed and sewn in the Art Room at Partners in Prime as part of the quilting group. See Links for schedule. These bright quilts are a touch of home for children and their families.
